Capture Roaming Dinosaurs: Guide
**NOTE: There are some issues causing a delay in releasing this feature. If you have not seen it on your farm yet, don't worry--you will have it soon!**
Capture roaming dinosaurs and put them on your farm! Using the Dino Trap located on the edge of your farm, complete a series of tasks that will help you to collect a total of six new dinosaurs to place on your farm and harvest for DNA strands.
Find the Dino Trap located very noticeably on the edge of your farm:
Clicking on your Dino Trap takes you immediately to the “Look Inside” screen, where you will find more specific instructions on what you need to do to complete the stage that you’re on. Here is an example from Stage 1:
There are six stages with six different dinos to collect:
Stage 1: Feed the Shy Bambiraptor so you can lure her onto your farm!
Collect 8 Fern Fronds by:
Stage 2: Attract a lonely Irritator with a sexy dino decoy!
Gather the following materials from your friends:
Stage 3: Lure the friendly Hylaeosaurus onto your farm by throwing him a party!
To fill your guest list, you can:
Stage 4: Entice the speedy Pygmy Gallimimus onto your farm by building her a track!
Gather the following materials from your friends:
Stage 5: Win over the hungry Jainosaurus by gathering Fern Fronds!
Collect 8 Fern Fronds by:
Stage 6: Summon the flying Microraptor by recruiting your friends to call him!

- Click on Feeds that are sharing Fern Fronds
- Complete immediately for 30 FC
- Time Limit: 2 ½ Days
- Share: Fern Fronds
Stage 2: Attract a lonely Irritator with a sexy dino decoy!
Gather the following materials from your friends:
- 10 Paper Mache (post to feed or skip for 10 FC)
- 10 Paper Mache Paste (post to feed or skip for 10 FC)
- 10 Dino Paint (send request to friends or skip for 10 FC)
- Time Limit: 8 Days 11 Hours
- Share: Paper Mache
Stage 3: Lure the friendly Hylaeosaurus onto your farm by throwing him a party!
To fill your guest list, you can:
- Ask for Help: Send direct requests to 10 of your friends to attend Hylaeosaurus’ party
- Complete Now: pay 30 FC to immediately complete this stage.
- Time Limit: 11 ½ Days
- Share: Track Surface
Stage 4: Entice the speedy Pygmy Gallimimus onto your farm by building her a track!
Gather the following materials from your friends:
- 12 Starting Blocks (send request to friends or skip for 12 FC)
- 12 Track Surface (post to feed or skip for 12 FC)
- 12 Finishing Tape (post to feed or skip for 12 FC)
- Time Limit: 17 ½ Days
- Share: Track Surface
Stage 5: Win over the hungry Jainosaurus by gathering Fern Fronds!
Collect 8 Fern Fronds by:
- Posting a request to your wall
- Click on Feeds that are sharing Fern Fronds
- Complete immediately for 30 FC
- Time Limit: 20 ½ Days
- Share: Fern Fronds
Stage 6: Summon the flying Microraptor by recruiting your friends to call him!
Make your calls heard by:
- Ask for Help: Send direct requests to 10 of your friends to call Microraptor
- Complete Now: pay 30 FC to immediately complete this stage.
- Time limit: 23 ½ Days
- Share: Uncommon Yellow DNA Strand
