Floating Castle Feature Guide
NOTE: While this buildable is placeable on any of your farms, it fits in nicely with the décor of Jade Falls. You can also place one of these buildables on each of your Farms, though each Floating Castle will function independently of the others on other farms (i.e., your progress on other Floating Castles does not carry over to Floating Castles on other Farms.) Purchase the unimproved version in the Market for 0 coins, or the completed version for Farm Cash.
Finding and Placing Floating Castle
Look on the right-hand side of your screen for an icon with an image of a castle on it. Clicking on it will bring you to a window prompting you to place your Floating Castle now. If you close out of Placement Mode before placing the Castle, your Floating Castle will go to your Gift Box, and you can find it there.
You can also purchase the Floating Castle in your Market for a price of 0 coins for the uncompleted version, 36 FC for the semi-completed version, and 363 FC for the complete version:
Once you’ve placed your Floating Castle, you’ll notice that it’s in rough shape. Click on it to see these options:
- Look Inside: Look inside the Floating Castle to see your progress and improve your Castle
- Send Parts: Send Enchanted Bamboo to your friends as a Free Gift
- Complete Now: Complete the entire building stage for Farm Cash
- Move: Place your Floating Castle elsewhere on your Farm
- Sell: Option to sell your Floating Castle
Gathering Items to Build Floating Castle
- There are three types of items you will need to build Floating Castle: Hovering Charms, Cloud Bricks, and Enchanted Bamboo.
- To get Hovering Charms and Cloud Bricks, you can post a request to your News Feed, asking your friends to send you these items.
- When your friends click the “Give and Get” link on your News Feed post, they will also get the item that they are sending you—so be a good neighbor and click your friends’ feeds too!
- You can also grab these items off of friends’ feeds who are sharing.
- To get Enchanted Bamboo, you will need to send some requests directly to your friends.
- Your friends will see these requests in their FarmVille inbox and can send you Enchanted Bamboo in response to your request, and can also send it as a Free Gift to whomever they like.
- You can also purchase the items you need to complete this buildable with Farm Cash. Hovering Charms and Cloud Bricks are 2 FC apiece, while Enchanted Bamboo is 1 FC each.
Completing Floating Castle
The Floating Castle is completed in seven building stages, where Stage 0 is the totally unimproved version of the Floating Castle you can place on your Farm for 0 Coins. Each stage requires more of each item than the one before it. Gather these items to complete the Floating Castle. For every stage of the Floating Castle that you complete, your Castle will look more and more finished and impressive to look at.The requirements for each stage, as well as the Farm Cash price to complete each level that way, are listed below:
Harvesting Floating Castle
At each stage of completion, you can harvest your Floating Castle for lots of goodies to help you on your Farm, in addition to the Gems to use for Gem Tower. When you harvest Floating Castle, you will get Gems for Gem Tower and SDBs each time. Each time you harvest the Floating Castle, you will also be able to share a Sail with your friends.
Act Quickly!
The Floating Castle is only around for a limited time—so start building! You will always be able to harvest your Floating Castle for Gems and Treasure parts, ask friends for parts, and complete your Castle, but you won’t be able to place the Floating Castle, find the parts you need to build it on the Free Gifts page, or purchase the completed or semi-completed versions in the Market after it closes.
