MASTERY TOTEM GUIDE!

Want to master your animals faster? Then shop at the Market for the Master Totem! Place these statues next to your animals pens and receive two or even three times the mastery points on each animal in the pen.

What are Mastery Totems?

Totems are not buildables. They are decorations that enhance your animal pens. They have these special areas and if you place an animal pen in those special areas, something awesome happens. 




What do these Special Areas do?

When you cursor over a Totem, 1 or 2 blue footprints appear next the Totem. These blue squares are special areas. When you place an animal pen in the blue special areas, a bonus will be applied to the animals in the pen. These bonuses will increase Animal Mastery Points by 100%! 
Two Totems have 1 special area and one Totem has 2 special areas.

You can find these Totems in the Market. Search for “Mastery Totem.” These can be purchased for 15-25 Farm Cash.

There are 3 types of Totems

Note: The Mastery Totem is not applicable to the Mystery Baby Nursery, Baby Bunny Hutch, Dino Lab, Unicorn Island, Sunshine Doghouse, Cupcake Doghouse, Study Doghouse, and Turtle Pen. 



How to move a pen successfully into a Totem’s Special Area?

There are 2 ways:

1. Move a Totem next the desired animal pen. Move the Totem around the pen until you get a “Bonus.” Getting the Bonus pop up means that the special area will be applied to the animal pen.
2. Move the animal pen next to the Totem. Move the animal pen around the Totem until you get a “Bonus.” Getting the Bonus pop up means that the special area will be applied to the animal pen.

How to Activate the Bonuses

Bonuses will be applied AFTER moving an Animal pen into the blue special areas and AFTER harvesting the Animal pen. Harvest-ready animal pens moved into the special areas will not receive bonus. You will need to allow one harvest cycle to pass in order to activate the bonuses—Bonuses will be applied on the second harvest. To see if the bonuses have been applied, you’ll get the following message (see image below).

Can Special Areas and their Bonuses’ stack?

Yes, bonuses can stack. So if an Animal pen is placed in the special area of 4 Totems, it will give 200% mastery bonus when harvested. And Animal Mastery statues adds 100% on top of the Totems. So if an animal pen is in 2 special areas with 2 Totems, and you own an Animal Mastery Statue on that farm, then you'll get a 400% mastery bonus on harvest!
